Southern Pacific 4-8-4 #4449 wearing her Amreican Freedon colors for the American Bicentenial celebration. This is one of my few favorite locomotives and is one locomotive that in my mind every American should love reguardless if they are into model trains or not.Related content

I wish I had that model..... I love 4449 in her red, white and blue colours. That's why I love America.

Honestly I'm fine with the American Freedom Train, just not a fan of the 4449. The Reading T-1 (I forgot which number it was) painted up as America #1 was my favorite of the locomotives used.

I will say this. This 4449 wasn't even worth what my dad paid for this on ebay. The one that I got coming from Canada is better than this one even if the one thats coming from Canada is a Bachmann as well. The only good thing about this on is that it smokes.
