I made this as an audition garment for Project Runway. The judges were impressed with it, but it wasn't what they were looking for this season.Silk Chiffon

Designed and draped by me... now I just need somewhere nice to wear it *sigh*.

Project Runway! You should definately try again! I love to watch that show, but I'm not the seamstress in the family. What were the auditions like? Did you meet any of the judges from the show, or were they pre-judges? Oh, nice dress too BTW.

Tim Gunn and Christian Siariano were there, as well as two female pre-judges I can't remember lol. Auditioning was fun, but a LONG process, I was there for 6 hours and only in the audition room for less than a minute (which is more than most people got I was told). Tim loved my jewelry and designs, it just wasn't what they were looking for this season... he did tell me he wants to see me next year with a whole Ready-To-Wear line and 3 samples

looks lovely, too bad about the auditions, I had a teacher telling me I should go, but in middle of trying to get my degree is not the time for that! I am sure you will find some venue to wear this too! Great job!
