Description I love these shoes! I made them to coordinate with my Marie Antoinette dress ([link] ) for Dragon Con 2011. I had to rip apart of the old shoes found on eBay and recover them in matching silk. The sole and heel were then re-attached and the shoes decorated.
I used Swarovski Rhinestones, blue pleated velvet, vintage silver lace, and cameos that I added a few more rhinestones too as well A girl can never have enough bling. These took me about 5-6 hours total.

I love these, they are amazing shoes! I never thought about ripping shoes apart to re-cover them. I will have to try that when I get the chance.

Thanks! It was not too hard, just take your time to make sure that the fabric covers it smoothly (go with the bias).

I love those, I want to make some myself. Wonderful job I thought you bought them and added the cameo, lace, applica, and rhinestones.
