Again, trying different things, trying to get the hang of it.This is an old Garundi dude, who is some how connected to The Ugly, I don't know how yet, Mr. Sperry is being mysterious.

Thanks! I did look at some reference pictures to get a few ideas, but in the end I just kind of went at it until I liked it.
And your self deprecation will get you nowhere sir!

I figured. Very well done! Your shading is quite delicious, and will help make the paper minis look a lot less flat when they're printed. I'll print out some commoners sometime soon.
And self-depreciation has gotten me this far, dude. I'll beat myself up until I turn into a dead horse and it serves no further purpose.
