As the 80's will be memorable for all transformers fans in our childhood. Optimus was our biggest hero in the the beginning. He had strengths to act like a father to the Auto bots, He had the Touch and He was also amazing at his leadership. When the movie came out in the 80's every kid was distraught and sadden to see their favorite Auto bots Fall. Ironhide. (Who Died Two Times In G1 And In The Michael Bay Remake.) Ratchet(Who died as well in the Michael Bay Remake. Michael really likes killing off main auto bot characters huh?) And one of the saddest death ever was Optimus Prime. When the scene where Optimus Faces Megatron in a Huge Epic Battle Which He won. He suddenly dies. Now I understand that hasbro had to killed them off to make new toys after the movie and build up a third season. And they had one problem they need a new character to take prime's role and who was it? (cough cough murder) Yup that's Hot Rod. Now I know some of you are mad at hot rod for killing him but likely kup should've tackled hot rod like in the comics. But at the near end of the movie The Matrix Of Leadership was earned to him making him evolved to Rodimus Prime. Rodimus was a gigachad versioin of Hot Rod and he was the leader in season 3. When the Dark Awakening Came Rodimus wanted to return the matrix to Optimus since he came and save them. and blah blah the quintessons controlled optimus the matrix returned to rodimus again killing off Optimus for the 2nd TIME. THUS Making a return part for the return of optimus prime. So who's better Optimus or Rodimus? let me know in the comments.
