Here's a nice image I made from the episode "Secrets". Here they immediately begin to correctly suspect that Max is hiding something, unfortunately they don't have any time to explain. Before this part I liked Max's reaction when he sees Vilgax, all those years he thought he was dead but now he learns he's back and coming for Ben. It was also nice how they foreshadowed Max being a Plumber in earlier episodes. It became clear that he knew something he wasn't telling but it wasn't clear what he was hiding yet.
