Believe me if you want, or don't. It's up to you. I don't have a headboard on my bed, hence why what I'm about to tell you makes sense.
I'm able to see and sense spirits and whenever one is nearby, and one night, I woke up, and found something like this sitting on my ceiling above me, just watching me as I was laying in bed. I could tell it didn't want to hurt me, but to this day, I still have no idea what it was, or why it was watching me.
And no, before anyone says this, it wasn't a guardian angel, because it was completely blacked out, except for the eyes. The eyes were the most piercing ice blue you can imagine, almost like they would freeze you just by looking at you.

I love the atmosphere, and the details on the headboard are a really nice touch.
The only thing that's slightly off is the girl's face. I've tried drawing heads in that angle and I know it's not easy- Maybe this could help [link]

I almost wanted to call him the Christmas Sandman, and I was sitting here debating it. It would make it nice and comforting, and the veil over his face suggest sleep. But I just can't give up my jokes - "tiny tots... will find it hard to sleep tonight" and "night stalker, 3rd shift" (as parodying a 3rd shift night STOCKer)
