Contemplation

Contemplating
on the fixed order of the universe
and of all things natural
you are one in many
you are alone out of all

Prepared by others
as a bride waiting for the veil to fall
hiding virtue
with connecting glance
reminded of what perfection there is in giving

A plateau has formed
not that of committment
but of knowing, of loving
acceptance with another being
into the force that comprises my own

Wishing not that you were here
but knowing that you are
for as the sun shines
only on me
it likewise does so on you
