We know the 5th fighter was featured in the comics, has been in the games but never been playable, and is female...
I'm placing my bets on Sarai or Kei.

I've heard that the "new" character is actually Retsu from SF1.

It's gonna be a female. so unless Retsu pulls a "Poison" he is probably out!

I do recall CAPCOM releasing an official statement saying something to the affect that
the new 5th character would be someone who has never been in any SF game.
With that in mind, I suppose it could be a hoax, but I did come across this:

I dunno if Shinkiro would have bothered doing this illustration for the sake of throwing people off track.
But I suppose that this pic was probably done digitally and can be easily altered in the future.
Ah well...I guess I'll just have to wait and see.
