Description Acrylics, gouache on canvas.
8" x 10" (that's like, uh...20.3 x 25.4 cm)

Tulu stands here,
unaware that he will someday
fall dead by this tree,

even as it
speaks spillings and hints at
his death.

He will be buried upright
deep in the ground
by the tree itself,
to assist in its growth.

For now though,
the tree must wait 18 years before
Tulu returns.

The second Tulu to come
by its way in a hundred years.

Will you make a book of these lushly colored paintings with the poetry as an artist comment? I think they would make a really beautiful book.

Hey, got your comics in the mail. Plump #2 I CONSUMED, but the rest I must pace myself as to not enjoy too quickly. Funny Monster #2 was awesome. Thanks alot for that transaction Ben, exciting my imagination and renewing appreciation for art. Hithero I had only indulged in your visual imagery, now I got a sense of your writing asthetic. Very good.. goes well together. Very agreeable.

Anyway.. cool painting too.. A dreary empty background. Like the red corner boarders.

its the big A0 poster thing that has articles and such, i can't remember what its called, but you must know what i'm talking about...i doubt they're printing without your consent.
