oh, i resorted... but all the effort, the planning, the pain was in the pencils then brush and ink, so i call this traditional...is that what you mean?

Yeah.
As a matter of fact, I am starting to use the computer for colouring (Which is I admit going against what I stood for by keeping the computer away from my art in progress) just to have a go, 'be not afraid' so to speak.
But I haven't abandoned the water colour pencils...

i drew this with a paintbrush dipped in ink, planned out with pencils first --- the greys took little time.

awesome piece.
i dont think you should call it digital unless it is *primarily* a digital piece.
this piece certainly does not fit that description, as a great deal of the work involved is done with traditional media.
The drawing itself could easily stand alone, without the coloring.
So the digital coloring only aids the traditional media, not the other way around.
Also----it would help if DeviantArt would adjust the categories a little

Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way.

Draw a cigarette on a cigarette paper and then roll it up and smoke it. It would be like, an ultimate smoke.
