I am old school and I will remain that way forever! BWA HAHAHAHA!Anyway, Mario (in his original poop brown shirt and red overalls) vs. Bowser on a bridge over lava with a giant bridge destroying button just laying around...
I love Bowser, but sometimes I question his judgment...I think he's afraid of success.
p.s. i know that true old school was an axe, but an axe won't chop down a stone bridge ;^)

I didn't know that technically in the first Mario bros peach is a little girl considering how small she is when you save her at the end when your super Mario or fire Mario.

Ever wonder why Bowser never hit the button that destroyed the bridge? He probably could have defeated Mario much more easily that way...

Wow, if you mentally play the final stage music from Brawl this drawing becomes even more epic.Β
Some things to note:
1. Mario has his classic outfit that's rarely mentioned by Nintendo. Nice touch.
2. If you really wanted to remain old school, you would've had an axe instead of a button.
3.Is that lava hand drawn? It looks remarkably different compared to everything else in the drawing.
4. Bowser's line is a really great echo of the infamous line. It just defines the term "Shit just got real".Β
5. The background has a lot more space than normal. It seems this final battle was going be a lot more than just jumping on a bridge.

And, yes, Bowser is afraid of success. Why does he always keep a castle-destroying button or something equivalent so nearby?
Also, the axe in the old games didn't so much chop down the stone bridge so much as it cut the cable that held the bridge up. At least, that's how I think it was supposed to work.

At any rate I'm always impressed when someone interprets a side-scrolling stage into a more realistic form. And I always do love Bowser, even if he makes some mistakes like this. You should do his SMB3 battle, and the SMW one.
