haha windsurging well....I got into it in bout 3 years ago and I started going every wednesday after school and loved it so much that now I'm into doing a bit of teaching myself...it's wicked, there's just something about it.. it's my fav rush..you get such a direct feeling of speed coz you're inches from the water and blasting along I can't describe the feeling...but it's shout for joy material I'll tell u that much
it's kind of like donutting (behind speed boat) but you can carve and do what you want...jumps and all that...tricks with the sail..and board...when you jump you can use the wind to launch you higher...and kinda float a bit in the air....

lol its soo good really...bein paid to do something as laid back as teaching windsurfing!!! so many of the learners that work at desk jobs comment on how us instructors have it made!!
there's still alot more room for me to improve and grow untill I get into one on ones....the adults tend to want to see results alot quicker than the young ones so yea have to get the way I teach alot more practised so I really look like I know what I'm talking bout.. I've been teaching mainly school groups. it's sorta what I gravitated towards...rather than the one on one stuff. they're just so much more of a joy to teach (kids) they pick up on things *alot* quicker than the more mature students do. and they're funny when all they want to do is just have fun.

man I really miss it now (I'm always at uni so I can't teach on weekdays anymore)

you should try it if you get the chance...
sorry I took so long to reply my comp went crazy
