Nicole just felt awful about treating their kids (mostly on Gumball and Darwin) terribly. She felt that when they're older, they start to hate her. Two of her most worst mistake she ever regret is when she left Gumball in the middle of the desert and harshly punishing the brothers after they hurt Richard's feelings.

I admit, Season 2 Nicole is pretty much the worst season for her. Specifically The Fridge, The Hero and The Limit, though I find The Fridge is at her worst. Nicole's action in The Hero only happen in the quarter of the episode, while I (unpopular opinion) liked that episode because of some of the moments that works for me especially with that song, my main problem is Gumball is unlikeable in The Hero. The Limit is pretty much meh for me it's not good but it wasn't bad either. Ever since The Castle, she's improved despite there's some flaws. Despite that, she's still my sixth favorite character in TAWOG.
