Description
Daisy was too slow to realise what was happening around her, and it costed her dearly. She was in a small hut on the edge of the beach, beneath a rocky cliff, as she heard screams outside, which she assumed to be from families playing together, but was something much more haunting. It took her a few minutes to realise this, and as she looked out, she saw a monstrous squid creature drag a victim into its vast mouth, crying and shouting all the way. Most of the other survivors had fled the scene, but Daisy had stupidly ignored the warnings she was presented. She ran, only making it a few metres before a tentacle wrapped around her body, its suckers having a surprisingly strong grip. She squirmed desperately as it opened its cavernous mouth to throw her in, but it was no use. Seeing no other options, without thinking she bit down on its wet skin as hard as she possibly could, causing the creature to drop her out of shock more than anything. She sprinted away, before realising she was trapped against the rocky face of the cliff. The creature was becoming ever closer, smashing through everything in its path. She jumped onto the jagged rocks of the cliff, and began climbing in a state of mass panic. It tried to pull her down by her ankle, but she held on firmly. It then decided to smash a tentacle against the cliff, making her let go, to her own terror. In a last ditch effort, she attempted to grab onto the ground as she was slowly dragged towards its gullet, screaming in wild fear, before she was dropped into a world of pain.
