Description Microraptor gui. Which does not appear in Tyrannosaur Queen www.thekingdomsofevil.com/?pag… but which was requested by my friend and fellow English teacher Christine Yip. Thank you for critiquing and improving Tyrannosaur Queen, without you, Chris would have been much less...Chris.

This is one of the coolest depictions of a Microraptor I've ever seen--I just love that pose, beyond belief.  I'm not sure if this is what you intended, but it gets me thinking about the potential agility of a four-winged design via selective fanning and folding of the front and rear airfoils in combination...I'm picturing them being able to turn on a dime, which probably isn't realistic but still a cool image.  Like aerial pinnipeds or something.

I just got the strongest image reading your comment: a microraptor folding its wings to dive after a fish. The first darts off in a different direction, the micraptor unfolds opposing arm and leg to execute a 90 degree turn. Probably very unrealistic

That sounds awesome, though!  Similar to what I envisioned for

thomastapir.deviantart.com/art…

or even

thomastapir.deviantart.com/art…

for example.

Ah!  This is very close to what I'm going to request for my alien drawing, once I finish beta reading for you!  It's essentially an uplifted/modified version of a Microraptor.

Great pose! Definitely not one you see everyday.

Thanks!

I was going for a "dead and taxidermied" look
