My tribute to two of my favourite people, Samus Aran, who recently celebrated her 25th , and my favourite artist (along with Ryan Ottley) the Amazing Arthur Adams! His style has been blowing me away since I was a kid when someone gave me a copy of Tom Strong's Terrific Tales (he did the gorgeous Jonni Future segments, which I probably shouldn't have been looking at).
Anyway I wanted to do a tribute picture and plagiarising his style was loads of fun. Bit tough on the wrists though haha. Anyone who draws that much detail for a living is a madman. A brilliant madman. Hope you enjoy, done entirely on paper with pens ranging from 0.05mm to 0.8mm, half a day or so.
