I remember a joke prediction of 1996 from Sports Illustrated that the MLS would crash and burn within months because Soccer was thought to be a kids game at the time. They said that there would be a hide and seek league in 1998. I imagine Unikitty took that idea and ran with it in this episode. I especially like the lengths that Hawkodile and Dr. Fox went to in their attempts to be the best hider as well as Unikitty's attempts to find Richard. The reference to Star Wars: The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi was also a nice touch.
