Usually, I'm VERY against just gluing a watch movement onto something and calling it Steampunk, but this actually turned out nice. The whole movement fits in with the pendant. It's also a unique movement because not often do I see the balance wheel completely exposed like that.

I've wanted to try solder, but I've always been worried about how it actually holds up.
If I may ask, what kind of soldier do you use and have you had problems with pieces breaking before or the solder not holding?

Its silver solder. And I have had problems with it not adhering well. You have to know what your doing. But for the most part it isn't a problem.

Then I'll tinker a bit and see if I can work with it since I have no clue what I'm doing with solder at the moment XP

yes, but everytime I do this they look in my decollete O.O*

they look everytime to..."somewhere else"
