A scene from The Mummy AU fanfic The Art of Compassion , featuring young Ardeth and Rick. I thought about quoting a passage, but then this should be pretty self-explanatory.

Drawing "details": References: me again. Guess if it was hard to pose for Rick, being on my own? Had to take two photos, sketch them, combine them, remake an arm... but it worked out.
The glowing background is called Artistic Liberty, and hey look, it works damn well.
Ardeth should probably have more tattoos, but having no refs and no idea how to draw them made it tricky. Every tattoo writing you don't see in the movies is absolute gibberish, save the hieroglyphs on his chest.
Some of the tattoos are based on the fic Brother of My Soul .

Other babble: Ladies and gents, I am satisfied. I really like how this turned out. Even though I can see flaws, I don't care about them because I'm happy. Yay!
