No actually. I had about 5 pictures of fawns up while I worked out the proportions, but none of them had a a face at this angle to ref off of. I doodle deer heads in my math book all the time, so I have my own little style I follow.
Ears are the toughest.

Cool! it's just that I often see people who mimic the Disney style like Lion King, so I thought there are probably some people who do that with Bambi or any other disney movie. It's nice that you've developed your own style, it's like halfway between realistic and cartoonish. c:

Yes, Bambi is very different from this indeed.
I love the Disney style so much, but my own style is far more natural for me to draw. One thing that Disney often does with its animal characters is add a sort of inward scoop between the eyebrow and the eye.
What you might be noticing is my attempt to try that out on my own style (from memory, not refs). It ended up being more of a lump instead. But oh well, such is the journey to finding out the right balance of style. I do not think this Disneyesque element suits me.

Yes, that's exactly what made me think you were trying the disney style! It's pretty cool that that element is so recognizable. It makes me so happy to see people try out parts of other styles for their own. And I am just really glad that you are learning from the experience.
