The immediate impression I got from this was: living is the hard part. Death is the sweet release that washes over you like a warm blanket.

The flower seems to endure a harsh environment while the skulls seem to be cozy together.

I really like this, not just because it's pretty. Lots of people say to me that it's bad to die, and we should stop things from dying, but I always say that the beautiful thing about death is that the bodies of the once-living fertilize and nurture the living. This is what I see in your piece. It's beautiful.
