I had a good, hearty revenge laugh after learning the story. Of course, it's good without knowing, as well, and trying to extract meaning from it. It shouldn't have been on the field while ball was in play. It's almost as if they were anticipating something like that.

if its not bad enough he hit it with the ball... he had to punt the poor thing too? No excuse can justify what he did. it shouldn't have mattered if it was the mascot or not, he should have bent down, picked it up and escorted it off the field. the story made me sad but im glad to see a little revenge in the name of the poor owl... even if it is only a picture. thanks!
