Description
Designed by Heikki Tiitola, this house is a very typical example of a workforce's double residence, with its unique detail being that its two entrances (both which still exist) are placed on the sides of the house instead of in the yard. In the 1930s-50s, the house was occupied by Maria Granlund, aka. "American Mari," who worked as a peoples' healer, among other things, and who left behind many letters detailing life in Käpylä during this time.
