When I found out I had been arraigned to marry the queen of the genie empire form an alliance between our two empires, I was surprised. Me: I am. Thank you. It is a nice change of pace from the endless battles the human empire are forced to wage against the dark elves and the orcs.
I frown sadly as the memories of how that started resurfaced. My own mother, Queen Angela, was murdered in cold blood by a dark elf under the orders of the dark elf queen. Mother was loved and respected by all for her endless love and kindness. Enraged by this atrocious act, my father declared war on them and brought down fiery vengeance upon them. They had called upon the orcs for help but it only brought them the fiery wrath of the human empire. Even though the war was almost over with victory in sight for humanity, its scars would never heal for many due to how much was lost. In fact the main reason why father agreed to this marriage alliance was to ensure nothing happened to the only child he had with my mother, which was me.
Girl: Word of what happened to your mother had reached our empire, your grace. Your mother was very kind to us and to so many others. It was her wisdom and mercy that convinced your father to come to our aide many decades ago when our people suffered from the plague.
Man: Our people survived and endured because of her intervention. Our kind can never repay the debt that we owe her.
I smiled at this.
Me: Thank you. My mother would be honored for your gratitude for her.

My own legion of body guards soon arrive armed to the teeth. Their armor covered in the blood of the genie guards. They new this would happen at took precautions just in case.
Me: They may not be enough to take the city, but they are trained since childhood to kill anyone that is a threat to the royal family. Not only that, a huge army under my father's own command is coming. He was hoping to see this marriage himself but when he hears about this, he will not be happy.

Me: my father's empire is on the verge of victory. So the war is not an issue right now. However, my father wanted me to have a good wife that will be be good to me and loyal. And was also worried that the amazon tribe might try to steal some land from our empire. And since your people share a border with them. He believed that with your empire as our ally, it would deter them from causing needless bloodshed over land.
She nods in understanding at this. The amazons had a habit of kidnapping men to be their sex slaves while also women to feed on...if they refused to join of course.and desiree and her previous queens had to deal with the amazons a good number of times.

*he raised a hand to light a dark purple spark to illustrate the point,he winced in pain*
fool: as i battled her and prepared to lay the final blow...she showed me...the truth...the king ...heh...well
