I don't like the Rara-Siren theory. If she really WAS a siren,then how come she doesn't need an amulet to sing?
Although,that WOULD explain why she's a better singer than Adagio...

Perhaps she took off her amulet because she didn't want to feed off negativity. There are several plot holes in this theory, but design-wise, Rara could be a siren. Big, extravagant hair, music-themed name.
