Description
Ahtal Ka are large Neopterons that superficially looks like a mantis mixed with the adornments of the Pharaohs of old, with the added ability to produce silk. Ahtal Ka are unique among their relatives for having high intelligence as well as the ability to not only use siege equipment as weapons, but to bind together massive piles of scrap metal into a dragon-like "mech" so they can defend their nest and hunt effectively. The Guild hasn't verified the exact place of origin but Female Ahtal Ka seem to always congregate around the abandoned Forlorn Citadel so the scholar believe it may be a possible nesting site for the species.

Mating Behavior: Like their much smaller cousins, Ahtal Ka females are larger and eat the males after breeding

Parental Behavior: Ahtal Ka are surprisingly good parents, caring and nurturing her brood over several years

Location: Ahtal Ka live in the Southern Deserts of the Old World
