Description

Two deadly robots/cyborgs who used to serve mad evil scientists (Dr. Eggman/Bagaru), using robotic remnants (Gemerl is a Gizoid rebuilt from the remnants of Emerl by Doctor Eggman; Sonic Battle/The Five Dastardly Bombers ended up on Earth in a heap of wreckage; Super Bomberman 2) from a previous battle that plays a heavy plot point into the third installment of the series (Sonic Advance 3/Super Bomberman 3). Using them to fight their heroic archenemies (Sonic/White Bomberman) and their helpful allies (Tails, Knuckles, Amy, and Cream & Cheese/Black Bomberman).

After they were defeated afterwards, they found themselves damaged after the battle so much it rendered them immobile, but luckily, we're found by young girls who happened to pass by them and helped them get repaired back to normal (Cream and Vanilla found Gemerl near a beach, he was taken to Tails who repaired Gemerl and removed the programming from Dr. Eggman/Mami found Golem in a forest and took him home with her, nursing him back to health). Living peacefully with them and their mother's homes and befriending the main protags they fought before.

At first initially lacked any kind of true personality, even portrayed as emotionless machines and was completely obedient and unwaveringly loyal to their masters. Until, after the events of the games where they separate from them, now shown to be kind-hearted, gentle, and supportive robots. Even if they are pacifist & kind-hearted until provoked or harming people they care about (Especially to Mami and Cream), they can be incredibly strong in battle, and deal a lot with firepower. Also, care for nature and animals as well.
