Sherlock Holmes and Joan Watson - I am loving Elementary, it has really gotten wonderful as it goes on (and more Sherlock on my tv is always a good thing!!)
So I had to paint them both, in a kind of speed paint (about an hour each). I love their characters and their interaction so although I painted both separately I really wanted to put them in the same painting in the end 
Done with my wacom in cs5 (if anyone wants progress shots/gifs or their individual paintings please let me know!)

Agree with you too, at first I wasn't too keen on the show (especially when I had finished watching BBC Sherlock), but I eventually grew to love Elementary. One thing that did bother me in Sherlock was that most of the humour did come from Sherlock basically insulting people, while in Elementary Sherlock's actions does and will have consequences (that scene where Bell tells Sherlock he never wants to see him again...and then we have Sherlock S3 where everyone just forgives him and Sherlock even laughs when John finally does)Β
