And yet another Legolas request! This was done with graphite and charcoal pencils and a white gel pen. I was pretty pleased with how the face came out, but forgive me for flaking on the armor. Unfortunately I ran out of patience!Related content

Thank you, and thanks for taking time to comment. I've been experimenting with using charcoal to get the truer blacks in my portraits and I think the dark eye needs to be in more shadow maybe, but in the reference yes it does look that dark. I may tweak it a bit, who knows.

Amazing! I love his clothing and his hair a lot! It's hard to draw hair yet keep it looking blonde, you did a really good job with it over all I think! =]

Thanks! It is a little tricky drawing blonde hair as it is almost done entirely with an eraser. At least that's the way I do it. I'm happy you think this works.

OH yes forgot to mention the white gel pen. I have a whole handful of them because they dry out so easily and I always use them for highlights. I've never mentioned it I don't think, but I also use white nail polish at times!
