Background:

Vanessa has never lived in the glamorous side of Fortune City. On the contrary, she hails from a modest family who has to do everything to survive each day. For years they have worked hard to provide for Vanessa and her brothers, however, it has come at the expense of some financial troubles.

At a young age, Vanessa was interested in pursuing the arts and sports. She had a passion for MMA and wrestling, however her family wasn't too keen on the idea. Which led Vanessa to pursue a degree in arts, her other passion. In order to get this degree, she had to take one too many loans which piled up quite a hefty debt. At the same time, Vanessa trained her body into top physical condition, while keeping it a secret.

Once she graduated Vanessa began to search for a job. She ended up working as a secretary and while they pay wasn't very good, it at least allowed her to pay her debts and sustain her indepent life. Sadly for her, that would all change once the company went bankrupt.

Without a job and a big debt, Vanessa is desperate. To make matter worse, her younger sister Stacy, becomes ill and needs a treatment that her family cannot afford. Without any sort of income, Vanessa falls into a depression.

However, due to a chain of events, Vanessa is offered the opportunity of a lifetime. She is offered the chance to become a wrestler in an underground wrestling circuit known as the FUC or Fortune Underground Wrestling.

FUC is known as one of the deadliest competitions. There are no rules, everything is possible, lifes are on the line. The stakes are pretty high, but so is the reward. Without much option, Vanessa dons a red costume and becomes the Scarlet Justicar, vigilante of the FUC.

Scarlet must battle against ever increasing odds, putting her life on the line every night. But if she can make it out alive, the reward will be enough to get her family and herself out of debt and maybe even pursue her dreams secretly.

However, the Scarlet Justicar needs to thread lightly. As FUC holds many secrest in its web. There are many shady characters there who will not take kindly to the appearance of a Justicar.
