before i was watching the new anime No.6 episode 7 and as shion leaves he gives nezumi a "good night kiss" on the lips haha as if seriously you would just kiss them on the cheek, in my opinion this anime is going to turn into a yaoi anyway lolRelated content

In my opinion, it's not a yaoi, it's more of a shounen-ai. This is how I categorise animes/mangas;
Shounen-ai- love, fluffy stuff (hugs kisses etc),
Yaoi- Smut

Yup I made this sorta in the middle of the series and I was just getting into the yaoi fandom so I didn't really know the difference.
I know now though.

Technically No.6 isn't yaoi but a very minor shonen ai. In my opinion, Shion and Nezumi have a platonic relationship. The love they have is completely pure and in no way as romantic as many portray it. If they'd read the novels first, then they'd understand their relationship better. If you want to read them, I'd recommend Hiriajuu's Livejournal page. She has summaries of the novels and her own personal review of the series. Trust me, it's worth it.

Seriously, bromance is defined as 'the complicated love and affection shared by two straight males'.
Because sexual attraction in No.6 is debatable, it could be bromance.
That's part of the charm of the series. It's obvious that Shion and Nezumi love each other - it's the form that love takes which is confusing.
But really, the question is part of the fun. ^-^

I think this has been said probably because people aren't stupid, but I haven't read other comments so forgive if this is repeat.
But just a kiss does not make it yaoi, there has to be full on sex for that.
This makes it boy-love/shounen-ai by the japanese name.

I'm quite a fan of the pairing too but I find things like this irritating.
