Description
The Fearless TattooI am an exhibitionist for a smile
or a printed page, writing my life in
tattoos across my body; poems are painted
over my face with blades of glass. I tell
small lies to make a line sound better, or
to deny it. I sell myself to chaotic
idols and stain my heart with tiny pins,
whispering to mother, “I am a whore
to survive.” The pain is almost pleasing.
