it's wonderful, and the fact that you got inspired by rich Pasternak's life is so unusual although i didn't like the fact that he wasn't very faithful husband, but maybe without it he would never write "Doctor Zyvago", such a BEAUTIFUL novel!

Exactly. The reallife dramas feed art.

yeah have you heard btw that Pasternak was politically quite controversial person, i don't think he was unfair, it was probably just Stalin who had strange liking and appreciation for Pasternak and there were times when Stalin would just call Pasternak to hear his opinion on some another writer, and on Pasternak's opinion it depended whether a writer was going to stay alive
but i don't think Pasternak did anybody something wrong purposely

a year ago at studies i happened to take a very interesting course of Russian literature of that period that's why i know it
well, all in all there were certainly brighter and less cooperating with goverment figures in Russian literature of that time , like Bulghakov for instance (God i sound like some MissSmarty-Pants, sorry)

I would ask what the story is behind this piece?
I love the flow of the lines. Also the effect where the people all seem to be standing in the blood (about knee deep) but there is no indication that the blood (or red ink) is seeping into their clothes ..... interesting?

Looking out the window they seem like people who do not get out much, longing for an excuse to move away from the walls that surround them!

Well done!!

I made this image for a biographical article about Boris Pasternak, the rusian writer of Dr. Zhivago.
He was a depresive type, with a suicide attemp an all...And two powerfull images in his life, female figures... his sister and his wife.
I tried to portray the drama of a writer...

WHA!! This adds more body to the work. I dont know this character or his history but now i see something of my own in the piece:
The pen and the "blood" showing the troubles/torment that he endured as a writer, but the two woman as you say stand by him, even knee deep in the "blood" (his problems). The window could be how he is trapped in his own mind/world ....... you really do good work!!

That pen...very nice image there, with the blood red colouring. It makes me so very curious to know what they are gazing upon.
