Description Somehow I found myself in a not stimulating spot even after aquiring some new exciting gear for my drawings. I bought a proper thin Nib (Instead of the generic ones I used to draw with), a new black ink and even a 0.1 Rotring rapidograph. I used all of them to doodle around on and empty page and was very pleased with the control and detail of the new extra thin nib, altough I barely used it for this one (only a small area that a weird friend of mine somehow spotted right away, like, seriously? HOW). The Rapidograph gave me a weird feeling of "I must use it more because I'm somehow left unsatisfied" and at this moment I'm still conflicted about it but it's what I mainly used for this two a5 piece. The risk of damaging the tip is always there pressuring me and the flow of ink sometimes get randomly out of control. Probably not the proper tool for my small textures? Will see, as I was used to 0.05 pens before.
But the main issue resides in my Boredom Gap where even after getting these presents to myself I abruptly left things behind on my desk waiting, without the energy or the mindset to pick them up again. I was kinda busy with a couple of Online courses but I could draw any time after those, yet I didn't. I had a lot of weird classmates that could have inspired many drawings with the absurdities that I have witnessed. Stories, drawings, uninteresting people that somehow managed to generate memories, all of that didn't find the right way to emerge on paper. But at last, somehow, I figured it out, put myself together and went to my desk once again. Only to find that my old Large Nib that I used to fill with black the background areas turned orange due to Rust. A small amount of water was left on the metal and time took advantage on it. I patiently cleaned it brushing away the impurities and well, I realized that I had a metaphor right in my hand.
Whatever happens, don't get rusty like my Nib. Don't let a day by day crust grow on you!
