Edit: Updated it to 2019! Decided to update since I had not updated in 3 years.. I feel like i didn't improve much woops... (Jan 1, 2020)This meme is flooding my inbox! I have a lot of fun looking at them though because it shows progress! I haven't actually done one of these before so I thought it would be interesting to do it. XD I recently found some really old backup CDs (thank goodness I found Cds because I dropped my harddrive in Sept.. OTL; -but the cds only contained work from 2003-2006 but hey, better than nothing!). It brings back so many memories.
I don't think I'm improving much though..... must work harder >8C

You have made insane strides since the very first time I saw your work. You actually made a sonicstyle chibi of my character back in 2001! I still have it! Totally amazing improvement, all because you worked hard to get where you are. Super kudos!

You improved a lot, I remembered when I saw "A cake for cherry" for the first time (I was 12-13 years old) and I absolutely love it!

Right now I'm really enjoying my work as a full time artist! The experience depends which studio you work for. The company I work at has amazing people so I really like going to work. sometimes there's a lot of work and sometimes there isn't depending on how many projects are going on. so there are tight deadlines at times and sometimes there aren't. I work at a small studio so I get to do a bit of everything (storyboarding, animation, illustration), which is pretty awesome cuz you get to learn different skill sets! (not sure if this answers your question XD

I think whats really impressive is that, even as it evolved, your styled remained pretty recognizable over the years. I can look back at the stuff from...really, as far back as 2004 (at least with the two pictured Zelda related images), and compare it to the most recent stuff, and think "Yeah, I can actually tell that this was done by the same person."
I like the really "painterly" effect your art has taken on in the last 4 years, though.
