I really have no excuse for this other than that I saw Telephone & liked it quite a bit. I've since been doing tons of research on lady gaga & have fallen down the rabbit hole, haha. I doubt I'll ever call myself a gaga fan, but I have a different perspective on her, now. I will love bey forever, evil or not. oh & I enjoy how super!thick beyonce turned out. her shape was definitely heavily influenced by ~oupelay 's girls.

the background got more psychedelic than I had originally intended & now I'm not so sure about it. meh.

I know that her hips aren't that curvy in real life. I took artistic license & made them bigger. I'm free to draw things as I see them. thanks for the input!

You're right you are, it's just I kinda found them distracting from the rest of the image because she happens to also be in a brightly colored dress, you know what I mean? It was just an observation I made.

haha, yes, it was indeed made with markers. copics mostly, but I use some prismacolors, too. I love photoshop but all in all, traditional media is much easier for me to use. thank you!

I love this one! Beyonce's hips are fabulous and Gaga is drawn beautifully.

(I found Lady Gaga on purevolume a few years ago before she was popular. I never expected anyone to ever find out about her but now that she's gotten famous I shamelessly adore her. She really is a good artist but I understand that her being so mainstream could be a turn-off to you.)

I don't hate her or anything, don't get me wrong, I just think there's something strange about her .. to say the least, lol. I also think that Bjork did it 10 years ago & a lot better. her songs do get stuck in my head like nothing else & she's a killer dancer! she does have a lot of talent, I just don't think I'll ever be a "fan" of hers.
