Commission of The Women (1939 film) recasting the actresses as DC characters. The details are:

Ok. So, a couple of years ago, Turhan’s Bey Company and I did a ‘fan cast’ for a classic movie star Justice League film serial .
Afterwards, I thought it would be fun to give a similar treatment, with a twist, to the film ‘The Women’.
And did.
The original actress and role, followed by the comics character we felt would best represent them.
Norma Shearer … Mrs. Stephen Haines (Mary) - Dinah Laurel Lance
Joan Crawford …    Crystal Allen - Selina Kyle
Rosalind Russell … Mrs. Howard Fowler (Sylvia) - Poison Ivy
Mary Boland    …    The Countess De Lave -   Jeannette
Paulette Goddard … Miriam Aarons - Zatanna
Phyllis Povah …    Mrs. Phelps Potter (Edith) -   Harley Quinn
Joan Fontaine … Mrs. John Day (Peggy) - Stephanie Brown
Virginia Weidler .. Little Mary - Sin
Lucile Watson … Mrs. Morehead - Dinah Lance
Marjorie Main …    Lucy - Ma Hunkel
This was something I really wanted to see. And finally, I asked Bevis to take a crack at it.
I knew he would create something amazing - I adore his art, he understands fashion and always adds those fabulous little details that really make the piece.
Also, he’s a wonderful guy and a friend, so there’s no downside!
And HERE IT IS!

It is everything I could have hoped for. And more.
