I really, really hated him in episode one, but after episode five, I totally changed my mind about him. He is now in my top three faves to draw (along with Jesse and Lukas)

Just about my thoughts exactly. Aiden was a petty schoolyard bully at first, then actually became a legitimate dangerous villain that managed to schmooze his way into a kingdom. In the end if you're nice to him still he says why he was such an ass. I really love villain redemption tropes so that's part of what really drew me to him lol

I think episode five is my favourite episode because Aiden was the villain. If it had been the Founder or some other random person it could have gotten bland, but since they took an already established character, and developed him, it got really good. I was kinda hoping Aiden would end up in the gang at the end.

Yeah, it's usually more exciting when a formally minor character becomes a major one. While I understand why he didn't join their adventures, I had hoped for more scenes of the blazerods. Like maybe an epilogue scene or something lol show different endings like if you took Aiden with you it shows him in a little house writing in a book and if you sent him over...idk. Something bittersweet I guess
