I enjoy quiet pieces like this, especially underwater scenes. There's always an air of tranquility they carry, and this shares it. You get the impression of her quite honestly having her own personal zone of safety here. There's no stress, no worry. Only a desire to oversee her garden.

Moving on to Mer-cres herself, her form is definitely fluid (ha, a pun on water). I can't see any out of place lines or shades, and everything looks naturally in place. My overall opinion of her is that she's adorable, hehe. The small shade of a seahorse on her forehead is a nice touch. I also find that her color scheme to match well with the udnerwater theme, keeping to cool colors like we would expect to see on someone under the sea.

When I look at the figures surrounding her, I am somewhat split. There is plenty of space where extra plant life could've been added, but at the same time, it may have detracted from the sea creatures that accompany Cres. Most people tend to keep the expressions on their fauna in one style or form, and you do that great here. I especially liked the two crabs at the bottom, as if one's asking, "do you think this shell would fit me?" To be able to get that right away is a job well done.

Overall, a great artwork piece. Keep it up!

Hehe, that's just fine! Like I said, adding more to the picture may have actually taken away from it's overall presentation instead of making it better. It can happen when someone tries to put too much into an image and viewers can't figure out the focus anymore because its been lost. But then again, it is up to you, as you are the artist, after all.
