Personality: Nikolai has covered his roots well; he holds little feeling towards his former leader (he gets a foul taste even from remembering the Fuhrer of old), and speaks fluent English, with a slight New York accent. He rarely speaks German, as he finds the language brute and odd even though he can perfectly understand it. He even has a full alias and forged background, all the way back to his "great-great-great grandparents", who immigrated to America from Germany long ago. Naturally, it is all complete fiction, but very well-made fiction if anything.

While he can cover up his heritage, he can't cover up his personality. Nikolai is very much a pyromaniac, as even a candle's flame can catch his eye and captivate him. He commonly enjoys smoking, extremely spicy foods, fireplaces, explosions, and making random inanimate objects suddenly and spontaneously erupt in flames. He hates ice cream and other cold foods with a passion, and dislikes winter of all seasons. He often travels to California in the winter because of the lack of snow; his very high body temperature shields him from the cold for the most part.

ABILITIES
The Gist of It:
Nikolai is able to control virtually every aspect of fire in relation to his body. He can use it as sword, shield, armor and sustenance. His firepower is second to none, and coupled with his penchant for smoking, Nikolai's flames are truly a force to be reckoned with.

Feuerpunkt: Haut
Meaning "Fire Point: Skin", this Feuerpunkt encompasses the many preventive qualities of not only Nikolai's skin, but his entire body. Born with deliberate genetic mutations from gene manipulation and the like, he has much thicker skin and special antibodies within his system. The thicker skin allows him to shrug off flames of all but the highest temperatures, and is heavily burn-resistant. The antibodies, however, are even more vital: they are what gives his muscles, bones and even his internal organs their fireproof qualities, and in addition it allows his "blood" (which is in fact oil) to recreate the very qualities that blood itself shares, in addition to oil's high flammability.

Feuerpunkt: Hülle
Meaning "Fire Point: Sheath", it aptly describes the expanse of Nikolai's next ability. Using both his highly flammable blood and his control of fire, Nikolai can literally "sheath" his hands in flames by igniting them. Hell, he can ignite any part of his body. This isn't done in huge explosions, mind you, but it is possible to gain a large increase in damage (enough to pound through steel by melting it) both because of the flames and because their heat ignites his blood (which he naturally produces by now) which makes his body temperature rise greatly, and can make even un-ignited limbs can cause searing pain to whoever they hit. Also, Nikolai can literally cover himself in flames, either as a skintight sort of "armor", or as a barrier around him composed almost entirely of flames. While this second one takes more out of him, the large amounts of flames can turn bullets to slag and makes arrows and close combat almost impossible for the short time he can use it.

Feuerpunkt: Strahl
Meaning Fire Point: Jet, this skill lets Nikolai control fire directly in both the palms of his hands and his mouth. It allows him to breathe large, gushing jets of fire, and at the same time it allows him to emit blasts of flame, in the form of large, semi-ring-shaped pulses, from his hands. Depending upon how much fire he has "eaten" recently, they can be smaller or larger than normal (but he is never actually out of fire).

Feuerpunkt: Fest
This ability, which means (you guessed it) Fire Point: Feast, entails Nikolai's natural attraction to fire, which is perfectly shown by his ability to literally eat fire and use it as a form of both food and replenishment. He can consume fire by sucking it into his mouth and swallowing it, where it becomes heat for his body and so increases his power. He can also absorb fire through his hands by forcibly making his pores grow greatly in size. It causes him a lot of pain, but it can let him stop a powerful attack that he normally could not avoid. He must, however, expel that fire from his arms in a massive jet after a few minutes, because it causes him further pain to hold it in his arms for very long.

Feuerpunkt: Auge
Meaning "Fire Point: Eye", this ability concerns Nikolai's chocolate-brown eyes for the most part. Whenever he wishes, Nikolai can make his eyes turn a deep, vivid red and begin to glow brightly like the eyes of a demon. This change lets his eyes see in infrared (heat-sensitive) wavelengths rather than simple visible color like normal humans. While it is extremely difficult to use in the middle of a blazing inferno, the eyes make finding nearby concealed persons extremely easy. There is no set limit on how long he can use these eyes.

HISTORY
Very, very little is known and proven in regards to Nikolai's past. He is known to have been a genetic test subject, circa 1939, as a test for developing firepowered supersoldiers. The test inevitably failed when the Nazi reign came to an end shortly following D-Day, and the test was scrapped. He was already born by this time, and so he was locked away in primitive cryogenics until the present day. Now that he has returned, he's struggling to make himself comfortable in the common era.

Also, there are rumors that Nikolai has been used by the CIA in numerous missions, but naturally the American government has refused to confirm or deny these myths.
