What's different with the monte carlo render versus the default render in Mandelbulb3d? Just curious

It's more physically accurate. Gives nicer images, at the cost of longer rendertime. it starts as a noisy image and becomes clearer by time. This one took me a night to render and i still needed to reduce the noise with photoshop.

Ah, now I remember. Yeah, I tried it briefly but never actually created any renders with it as I usually stick to high resolution renders or Big Render options.
