Description
I'll be making a few of these little creatures I have invented called Pookums. They will come in a variety of furs, faces, feet, and ears. They also have posable joints.Each of their faces will be painted similar-ish to Kabuki masks.
I was inspired by many artists on dA to make them. It would be easier if I linked to my Plush Sculpture Love gallery than to name all the artists off.

Since he's my first Pookum doll, he is $5 less than the next one's I'll be making.

I only wish his hands were a little more claw-like, like his feet, head and ears...I understand you want to balance the cute and creature aspects, but the paws he has do not fit him like the rest of his limbs do. I still love him!!

Haha, yeah, I was staring at those arms for a while and couldn't decide what do do with them. I didn't really want to add on full-hands, so I think I'll try putting stubby claws on the next one and make the arms a tad longer. >w> Hopefully it will look better.

how did you attach the clay components to the fur, and if you sewed them on could you make a walkthrough on how to do it/ add a link to how you learned? I've been looking everywhere and can't find an answer. thanks so much.

Holey moley! That thing is fluffy looking! It looks good though Caylee. Reminds me of that chick who does these kinds of things. I've seen her on DA a few times on the front page but I forget her name.
But anyway, adorable monster. Makes me feel the need to start making more monsters myself.
