Description First proper attempt at using dynamic brushes in photshop to actually PAINT as I would if I were working on a canvas. I needed a good subject, and luckily Natalie is just that, so many thanks to her for the stock this is based on (Natalie, sorry if the likeness has wavered, I'm new to this!). Check her fabulous stock out at :icon-fetishfaerie-stock:

Some bits I'm pleased, some less so. Not completely over joyed with the hair, but I'm still learning.

Wow, Nice work for a first try. you should have seen some of my early ones. My advice: Practice. It really does help. If you just keep at it and keep an eye on DA (looking VERY closely at art that you admire to learn new tricks) you can go really far really fast.

Thank you very much, and I will indeed keep at it. Thank you for the words of encouragement.

Major props to you for trying this - I use Photoshop to get away from paint-like techniques. lol But you've done well, it's very convincing and if I didn't know better I would think you'd painted this on canvas with washes of acrylic.

You should definitely keep at this technique and use these brushes again.

Glad you could use my stock!
