Here's the "digitaly remastered" (or you could just call it "colored") version of my Puyo Puyo 7 picture. *scraps the lineart picture*July 30 sure seems far away... >_<
Carbuncle turned out pretty crap, but whatever. Needed something to fill the empty corner. The Nuisance Puyos turned out bad too. But I like the rest of it so I post it here anyway.

I have never played Puyo 7, because, In my Mind, This Game Is An Reskinned Puyo Puyo 15th. But these outfits Look The same as Ringo's Outfit?

Well, I bet they're both running on the same engine, but they are quite different. While 15th has a basic story for every character in the game, 7 focus on Ringo and her adventures with Amitie and the bunch. 15th has allot more of different modes to play, which makes it a better party game experience, but 7 has Transformation mode, which pretty much is an evolved Fever mode, and it kicks ass!
I find Transformation mode so great, that I have a hard time enjoying Fever mode in the older games. That might be a bad thing in a certain perspective, but I've had so much fun with it! I think you should give it a try

No, not really. After i looked at puyo puyo 7's Gameplay and Transformation mode, I was extremely disappointed. Puyo Puyo Fever 1 was the best in the series.

Raffine52 is right. PuyoPuyo7 is nothing compared to Puyo Puyo Fever 1! And what i hate the most from PP7 is that Amitie's hat wasn't that familiar round one starting from this game.

I'm playing a rom of it, since I'm a bit broke now, but will buy it once I fixed my economy. Aside from a pretty weak story mode, it's brilliant, and the new gameplay mode is super-fun x3

Do you have the 15th anniversary game by any chance?
I do, but it's difficult to find anyone to play with any more .__. it's one of the reasons I'd like to get PP7, since it's newer, but yeah ;__;
What new additions does it have?

I played a translated rom of 15th, but haven't found it at any online auctions. I'm a bit of a collector when it comes to puyo games, but the older ones on saturn, game gear and dreamcast are way easier to come by. Plan on buying 15th and 7 before the end of this year.
7 has this new game mode called henshin (transformation) mode, where you transform to either older or younger versions of the characters (in the same style of fever). If you go old you get to play giant puyo where every new set of puyos you pop counts as a chain. If you go young, you get to play mini-puyo and get a pre-designed puzzle (just like in fever) but since it's mini puyo, you can get up to a 47 chain combo (or so I've heard. I've only been able to reach 36). I found it a bit confusing at first, but now I'm hooked. x3

I've been collecting a few too, though my collection is rather small atm. They're easier to find on Sega consoles, where they seemed to have thrived a lot.
I'd really like to get a hold of all the madou monogatari titles

Whether you grow young or old depends on the colors of the last puyos you pop before you reach the transformation. I can't remember which colors turned to what right now, though.
I have Madou 3 on Game Gear, but it's the only one I've ever found and it was labeld under "Unknown Japanese Game" or something like that. Too bad I don't have a Game Gear to play it on, but then again, there's that language barrier that would make sure I wouldn't be able to enjoy it, anyway.
I'll let you know for sure if I find it.

I actually just found out about the game today. I only have the game Puyo Puyo Fever, but it's so spiffy, as well as the character designs.

Thanx! Arle/Aruru is a longtime fav for me, but I must say Amities new designs are pretty nice too. The DS version is a sure buy for me ^^
