Really?Β I think it is exquisite just as it is!Β I understand though.Β Usually you can't get ride of the "dust" or the "noise".Β Sometimes it drives me crazy.Β I can never get rid of them on the flowers.Β It is part of why I never do them.Β The flower is clear a little way around it, like a dark halo and then there is all that dust and I hate the way it looks.Β

Yep that one has got me too. I think it's the gausian blur and sometimes maybe another blur if you have used them. I try to make them as small as possible without ruining the flower. Plus decreasing the gamma can help - though then I usually have to increase the saturation )

I increase the saturation on almost all of my flames.Β And you may have noticed in my descriptions that I use contrast and brightening a lot as well.Β I sometimes wonder if it is because I have cataracts.Β I have to get surgery next year and at this point do not drive after dark, per my eye doctor'sΒ suggestion.Β
I think it must affect how I perceive color, brightness and contrast with the fractals.Β Having no one else to ask I just go with what seems the best when I am working on them.Β

I tend to as well and I also have eye sight problems, but I do think it's JWF as well. Default settings don't do justice to the colours.

Glad I am not the only one.Β JWF has so many bells and whistles, so to speak.Β It has amazing capabilities that I have never even tried yet that I always feel bad that I can'tΒ get theΒ contrast and brightness exactly as I want it without going into another program afterward.Β
