I've always wanted to know this..how does one make a stamp? The frame around it and what not? Second who's giving you shit doll? I wont hesitate to rip em a new asshole! It really goes to show you just how petty some people can be on this site. There's noting wrong with adopting bases, and just because you decide to do that instead of trying to make your own doesn't impute your talent as an artist. It's like saying that photo manipulations don't count as art. Why because someone used a stock photo? Who cares? It's not like you're claiming these bases as your own. I've personally never seen you not give credit, and second I don't think people understand how difficult it is to do what you do. I tried it the other day and Wow, I couldn't even wrap my head around it, I didn't know what to do, and just the amount of attention you have to pay to the details is beyond my comprehension as an artist, and I'm considered to be pretty decent as one.

I envy you for your work and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little jealous that I lack the talent you have, but that's what makes this site a community and that's all that should matter; but unfortunately because we live in such an ignorant day and age and we're such an ignorant breed we often use hate and intolerance in all the wrong ways. I used to tell my ex girlfriend "if you put as much effort into our relationship, as you do hating me then we would of never broken up" and that's true. The same goes for art, and whoever gave you shit just for adopting a base is beyond petty, ignorant and moronic. Art is art and collaborations are collaborations. We wouldn't have "Just Dance" if Gaga didn't collaborate with Colby O'Donis or Red one. We wouldn't have half the art we do have if one person didn't collaborate with another. Art is limitless and boundless, the way our thinking should be but isn't. I truly, truly believe that the people who gave you shit are jealous petty fools. Like Gaga says "don't ever let anyone tell you that you can't be exactly who or what you want to be" (don't know if that's an exact quote, but close enough) Shrug it off babe, and keep doing what you're doing. Adopting a base makes no difference in who you are as a person and an artist, and giving someone shit just because they chose to is nothing short of petty.

Thank you m'dear. Adopt dolls between dollers are just another collab like any other. Coloring someones line art, fanfiction, music, motives and films, stock photomanip. Those are all collabs as well in their own way and form. If someone is to beat on one form of collaboration then they should on them all. Right? I tend to think about if they watch movies and listen to music (I don't know of anyone who doesn't) they make themselves look like a know-it-all-well bigot who has not done their research. The majority of members on this site who spew out this bullshit are those that are unfortunately confused on what a doll actually is (and are apparently too lazy to do their research in the area that is right.) Google? Do they fucking have it! Dolls existed since 1996 and before that time sprites still existed which are still pixel art and similar to dolls. DA was born in 2000. Dolls did not come out of DA, neither did the template bodies for dolls come from DA. Dollers were already over here for a long time but had no way to post, without category fail that is. It was fought for for a long time and when we got it in place finally it wasn't all right. Because of mistakes somewhere morons started to abuse dolls. They tried to copy it with something that is not at all close to pixel art, to dolls, to bases but art theft and having the green apple splatters all over recolored chunks of filth in Paint. (+ add the rape of shitty Photoshop brushes for some) What comes out of this and floods the Doll and Pixel cats and the front pages with toxic waste stops the artists here from learning what a doll is and what a doll is definitely not.

Let's browse the D-D cat shall we? Why not. Afterall this is an art community, so we can discuss what's a doll and what's a base and what's not.

What if have linked to that are not dolls is exactly what is giving public the wrong vibes. It's disgusting. I also see a lot of miscats in there which are not dolls but they belong in another category. Things like adoptables, memes and linearts have categories of their own. Some things can go into scraps too. Scraps are for deviations like a work-in-progress.

I don't know what are we ever going to do but, never give up doing what you like and I won't either. I don't really have the problems that have occurred to you. I have to see it done onto others. I have to explain to many members what a doll is anywhere between 1 - 5 times per week. I know your pain and it's absolute hell. If you ever want to talk. Feel free too.

There will always be "newfags" who will upload dribble with feet in Paint, diarrhea in MURO, em0 pictures, kawaiidesukun buttseckz fanfiction, porn, blurry screen caps, block of text faux stamps, $5 cosplays displayed with cellphone camera snapshots, pictures of pencil doodles on math homework taken with a DSi camera, traced manga pages, gary stus, mary sues etc. Everything that you hate, I hate this too. Guess what? Your shitstorms and raeg are nothing better than it; it's also garbage on DA, it's as foul as anything else.
And you are not excused once you make a fake apology of "Oh, but I do know ALL ___________ aren't like that!" Are you admitting that you did not know your facts straight the first time? Everyone makes mistakes but not everyone learns right from them.

Stop hating an entire medium that you have a misconception of or, that you like your medium better, or that you will never use. You don't have to use every art form or like and enjoy every art form but yours or our medium is no better. If you think it is "too easy" than try it. I challenge you to try it yourself. I doubt you'll find it as a "shortcut of art" or "easy" for the first time you try to do it. I have challenged many others. They either have tried it and learned right or backed off like a pussy and almost shit their pants. Grow a set. Thank you.
