I titled this portrait of Irene Adler as 'His Memory', because when I was painting this portrait, it reminded me of that portrait photograph from the Sherlock Holmes books, which Sherlock used to keep with him. He knew she was dead, but he preserved her as 'His Memory'. That's why I tried to give this portrait that old look.Lara Pulver as Irene Adler.
