This is a cover of an old Russian timeline made by Magnum aka Bicycle aka amagnum , you can read it here in Russian . In short, the sudden death of the Tibetan ruler, Songtsen Gampo, during his wedding night with a Chinese princess in 641 AD, provoked a new round of the long-term Tang-Tibetan war. Thus, the path to the west was blocked; Peroz III, an exiled representative of the Sassanid dynasty, could not go to reconquer his Persian homeland. He was forced to participate in the foreign war on the Chinese side. The long and exhausting war involved first the Korean states, then Japan. So, by the will of fate, Peroz turned out to be the Chinese wang of conquered Japanese islands. Madness follows.
I decided that since this is a Russian timeline, I will make the description in the Russian AH style. Have fun.

Uyghur Empire: created by the great Kurabir-khan, a Chinese-educated Uyghur prince who considers himself the new Qi Shi Huang of this world. De Jure is still a tributary of China.
Absorbed interesting powers:
a) Silla: defeated all its rivals in the peninsula by skillfully maneuvering between China and Japan. Unfortunately, they made their last choice wrong and were swallowed by the Uyghurs.
b) Xi Hui: the Abbasid clan lost its war with the Umayyads and was forced to flee east. There, taking advantage of the Tang dynasty crisis, they seized power in northern China. Islamic China did not happen, however, because a coalition of East Asian peoples led by the Japanese Sassanids drove them to the west, where the Sinicized Abbasids founded their state.
China: after the expulsion of the Muslims, for some time it was under the control of the Japanese dynasty, but the inability to control vast territories forced the Emperor to return to Japan. He leaves the mainland in the care of a new just dynasty.
Southern Chinese Dynasty: broke away from China due to the Emperor's ignorance of the Uyghur threat. Unfortunately for the southerners, there really is no threat from the north, as Kurabir is aware of the hidden dangers of conquering China. The dynasty is living its last days.
Annan: was conquered by China shortly before the birth of the Uyghur Empire and rebelled simultaneously with the Southern Dynasty, but against it too.
Champa: Japan's need for war elephants created permanent trade links with Indochina, and, at the same time, greatly reshaped the local balance of power.
Former Khmer Empire: fell under the strikes of the young Champa Empire.
Sassanid Japan: created by Peroz, his army, and the flow of Persian refugees from India + Chinese bayonets. In just two generations, the Persians began to assimilate into the local population but created a Japan that is very different for us both in language and culture, and in religion. The country was saved from the Uyghur invasion by a crown prince’s betrayal that overthrew the Emperor and accepted Uyghur suzerainty.
Pallavian Empire: descendants of Parthian nomads determined to reconquer their lost homeland or simply an expansive maritime power with a sphere of influence from Yemen to Borneo. This is a matter of dispute for future historians (or not).
Srivijaya: the once-mighty Malayan empire was exhausted in the war with the Javanese pirates and became an easy victim for Pallava. After several devastating raids, the empire had to accept humiliating vassalage from the Hindus.
Ruins of Pala: Pala fell a little early; there has not yet been found an analog of the Sena among the fragments.
Solanki Empire: another turn of the Indian wheel brought a new player to the top.
Ethiopia: prince Darigato traveled a long way from Japan to Persia as part of the Kurabir’s army, was the governor of the conquered Persia, and secretly wanted to restore the empire of his ancestors, fled from persecution to Egypt, fought the Pallava in Yemen. In the end, his adventures ended here, thousands of miles from his native islands.
The Caliphate of Persia, now the Sarijits Empire: was a pitiful sight in the form of a feudal hellhole before the Uyghur invasion and became an easy target for them. The caliph and his loyal army were able to retreat to India, to pull-a-Mughals and become a pain in the ass for the Uyghurs due to constant raids into Persian territory and support for the rebels.
Caliphate of Rum: due to the more ‘calm’ conquest of Persia, Constantinople fell to the Arabs much earlier. The golden age and peak of Rum's power are over; neighbors approach from all sides and lick their lips at Constantinople.
Rump Caliphate of Misr: was a classic Mamluk regime with a puppet caliph before the conquest. Unfortunately, these Mamluks were not former nomads like OTL. Due to the desperate and unsuccessful attempts of army remnants to retake Lower Egypt, the Hejaz Arabs plan to go free swimming.
Caliphate of Carphage: capital of the Mediterranean piracy and slave trade. Naval skirmishes between Muslim pirates and Maltese Vikings create tons of epic sagas.
Caliphate of Mauritania: the most remote fragment of the Arab caliphate and concurrently the birthplace of many sects.
Avar Emirate: Avars converted to Islam after the fall of Constantinople and became a conductor of the Muslim threat to Christian Europe. The modern Emirate has nothing to do with the nomadic empire of the past - it is a military machine that lives in endless raids into Christian and pagan lands (Venice died in one of such raids); the Islamized descendants of the Avars and Slavs are ruled by Mamluk clans originally from black Africa.
Magyar-Roman Empire aka Northern Roman Empire: the fall of Constantinople caused an outflow of Greek refugees north into the Crimea and later into the young Khazar Khaganate, mixing with the local population. In one of the Arab-Khazar wars, when the Arab fleet besieged the capital in Kerch, the Magyar clan betrayed the Khazars and seized power in Northern Rome.
Free City of Kiev: a young state of Eastern Slavs dissatisfied with Northern Rome and a tribe of western Poles who fled from the Avar raids.
Bulgar Khaganate, Fortress of King Solomon: the early fall of Constantinople and the adoption of Christianity by the Khazars forced the Bulgars to say fck you to its neighbors and accept Judaism.
Hispano-Aquitaine: the Arab conquest of Iberia completely failed. Iberia of this world is the main initiator of the ‘crusades’, which are more like punitive sea raids on the North Africa coast.
The New Roman Empire, aka the Bavaro-Italian Kingdom: slowly crumbling under its own weight and threatening to repeat the path of the OTL Holy Roman Empire. Now the center of power has shifted from Bavaria and northern Italy to the south of the Italian boot.
Magna Graecia: still nominally subordinate to the capital in Milan, but de facto an independent power. Actively leads an independent Reconquista of Greece and has huge appetites for Constantinople. There are even rumors about secret agreements between the Uyghurs and Magna Graecia in the case of the former’s invasion of Rum.
Papal Rome: the Popes never received such power as IOTL. Their role is limited to the nominal coronation ceremony of Roman Emperors.
Sardinia: one of the successful Arab raids wiped out all but one influential Sardinian clan. The clan consolidated power over the island and began maritime expansion in the Mediterranean, becoming the first thalassocracy of the new Europe.
Neustria, Austrasia and Burgundy: fragments of the stillborn Frankish Empire.
Mercia: some still call it Pendosia, after the great king Penda the Great, who temporarily unified England. His legacy did not live long, and the Frankish clan, who had fled here since the fall of the Frankish Empire, seized power in the country (in the original TL, these were the exiled Carolingians, but I decided not to make such moves).
Tir an Oighir: one of the Pictish clans migrated to Iceland to escape the massacre treats from other clans. Their presence here stopped the Viking expansion into the North Atlantic. Perhaps the Picts established contacts with Greenland and America, but we will not know about this.
Norway and Sweden: not very different from their historical counterparts.
The rest of the Nordic diaspora: Vikings are still Vikings; they raided and settled all over Europe. Under their control were both the familiar lands of eastern England, the Baltic, and Northern Russia, but also exotic ones like the Canary Islands, Malta, and Cyrenaica.
Saxo-Denmark Union: a dynastic union between Denmark and Saxony. Without a strong Frankish Empire, the Vikings broke into Saxony, which was tired of endless wars and mutual massacres with the Franks, and began to settle in it. Through the generations, a Viking strongman united these lands and founded a powerful kingdom.
Reveland: the Estonian state under the Vikings' auspices.
Novagrad: another state under the auspices of the Vikings, but this time it was the Vikings from England. Events in the Pacific Ocean will save future historians from arguing about whether the founders of the state were Vikings, Slavs or Englishmen.
Vandalusia: a story similar to the OTL Normandy, but the local Vikings' descendants are fighting against Muslim pirates and be sure, very successfully.

On May 7, 1037, the asteroid 4179-Teutat, moving at a speed of 20 kilometers per second, crashed into the Earth and pierced the earth's crust in the Mariana Trench.
This led to the detonation of the Earth's core and the complete death of the planet. Its history - both real and alternate - ended.
