Little something I been up to, a 2d metal version of the Colosseum that I can hang on my wall. It took me about a month to make this and I am really happy with the results
I hand sawed each level of the Colosseum (3 total) Then soldered each one together, after which I soldered the pieces to a square sheet of metal. Then I soldered down my metal frame. After that I went in with some hand engravers and added texture to Colosseum pieces and last I gave it a heat patina (that's why it has all the different colors on it)This is made out of brass and copper.

Stunning work! I can only imagine all the work to hand saw all of that. I like the patina, it really gives it an aged look that's amazingly fitting for the subject. I like that you finished it off with a metal frame as well. Fabulous work!!!
